The Greater Bengaluru Development Authority (GBDA) has issued a preliminary notification to acquire 7,293.44 acres of land for the ambitious Bidadi Township Project. The ₹13,000 crore project aims to develop a modern township based on a work-live-play model.

Land Acquisition Details

The land will be acquired across nine villages in Ramanagara and Harohalli taluks of Ramanagara district. The project falls under the jurisdiction of the Bengaluru Metropolitan Region Development Authority (BMRDA).

Financial Support and Project Scope

Sources indicate that the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd. (HUDCO) has assured financial backing for the township’s development. The project is expected to boost urban infrastructure and economic growth in the region.
