From Nurse to Millionaire: Nathanael Farrelly Retires at 29 After Selling Startup for Rs 106 Crore
Nathanael Farrelly, once a registered nurse, has made headlines for retiring at just 29 years old after selling his healthcare startup Revitalize for $12.5 million (approximately Rs 106 crore). Based in Florida, Farrelly launched the home infusion therapy business at the age of 24, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
His company offered home-based medical services like IV medications and antibiotics, meeting a surge in demand. Early on, he attracted attention from private equity firms, but he held off on selling. “I knew it wasn’t the right time,” Farrelly told CNBC Make It.
After realizing the company had reached a point where further growth would require external resources, he made the decision to sell in 2023 to one of the largest infusion therapy firms in the U.S. He remained with the company for 18 months before stepping away to take a “family sabbatical.”
Now with a net worth of around $14 million (Rs 119 crore), Farrelly is a stay-at-home dad, living with his pregnant wife and their three children — soon to be four. “That was the true exit for me,” he shared. “I wanted to really focus on my family and my own growth.”
His journey from healthcare worker to successful entrepreneur is an inspiring example of balancing ambition with personal priorities.
