Kozhikode, March 17, 2025 – An Air India Express flight from Dubai made a precautionary landing at Karipur International Airport in Kerala on Friday morning after the pilot detected a possible technical issue. The flight, IX344, carrying 182 passengers, including six crew members, landed safely, averting any mishap.
Precautionary Measures Taken Amid Suspected Hydraulic Issue
The emergency was declared after the pilot reported a suspected hydraulic system failure mid-flight. Airport authorities quickly mobilized emergency response teams to prepare for a possible crisis.
The aircraft, however, landed smoothly at approximately 8:30 AM, with no reported injuries to passengers or crew. Officials later confirmed that all safety protocols were followed, ensuring a controlled and incident-free landing.
Operations Resume After Emergency Withdrawn
Following the successful landing, airport authorities swiftly withdrew the emergency alert, and normal flight operations resumed. Engineers were immediately deployed to inspect the aircraft and determine the cause of the suspected technical issue.
