Pradeep Ranganathan’s coming-of-age Tamil comedy-drama Dragon is now in the final stretch of its theatrical run after becoming the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2025. With a phenomenal run that captured the hearts of audiences worldwide, the film has now entered the stage of slowing collections.

On Day 46, Dragon collected ₹2 lakhs at the box office, marking a steep 60% drop from ₹5 lakhs the previous day. This brings its India net total to ₹102.39 crore. Including taxes, the gross domestic total is now ₹120.82 crore.

On the international front, the film has collected ₹33 crore overseas, bringing its total worldwide earnings to ₹153.82 crore. Despite eyeing the ₹160 crore mark, it appears increasingly unlikely due to declining daily earnings and limited screens as the theatrical run winds down.

Even if Dragon wraps up around ₹155 crore globally, its performance is still nothing short of remarkable. Made on a modest budget of ₹35 crore, the film has achieved a whopping ₹67.39 crore in returns, delivering an impressive ROI of 192.54%.
