- Russian Woman in Gurugram Hail ...

Amid growing tensions between India and Pakistan after Operation Sindoor, a Russian woman living in Gurugram has captured hearts online with her emotional tribute to the Indian Army.
In a video shared on Instagram, Polina Agrawal, draped in a yellow saree, called India her “peaceful home” and saluted the bravery of Indian soldiers who continue to guard the nation’s borders with unwavering commitment. The heartfelt message came after her grandmother in Russia called her, urging her to return home due to the rising conflict in the region. Polina’s reply?
“What home? I am home right now, here in Gurugram.”
Her statement follows India’s precision strikes on terror camps in Pakistan and PoK on May 7, in response to the tragic killing of 26 civilians in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, on April 22.
Praising India’s defence prowess, Polina remarked:
“The Indian military has such advanced weapons and air defence systems—even Russia has provided many of them. It stands strong against drones, jets, or anything that dares fly in.”
She continued:
“Indian soldiers have such immense dedication and such big hearts so we can sleep peacefully at night. They risk their lives so that we can continue living ours without even realizing the danger.”
Polina’s video struck a chord with viewers, and her Instagram comments were flooded with supportive messages.
One user wrote: “Beautifully said! Truly grateful for the bravery of our soldiers.”
Another added: “Russia has always been a trusted friend—thank you for your kind words and support.”
The Russian-origin S-400 air defence system, already active in India’s arsenal, played a crucial role last week in intercepting and neutralizing hostile drones and missiles. According to defence officials, the system proved highly effective during the latest aerial threats from Pakistan.
Polina’s message, at a time of national resilience, is being seen as a powerful reminder of the emotional bonds people share beyond borders—especially when standing in solidarity with those who protect peace.
