After shattering box office records, Mohanlal’s critically acclaimed crime thriller Thudarum is set for its OTT debut. JioCinema has officially announced that the film will start streaming on its platform from May 30, in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.
Directed by Tharun Moorthy, Thudarum followed the mega-success of L2: Empuraan, with both films achieving over ₹200 crore in global collections—an unprecedented milestone in Malayalam cinema. Remarkably, Thudarum outperformed L2: Empuraan in Kerala and became the first film to cross ₹100 crore within the state. Owing to its exceptional theatrical run, the digital premiere was delayed to allow a full five-week theatrical window.
The film features a stellar ensemble cast including Shobana, Prakash Varma, Farhaan Faasil, Maniyanpilla Raju, Binu Pappu, Irshad Ali, and Aarsha Chandini Baiju. It is produced by M. Renjith under the Rejaputhra Visual Media banner, with music composed by Jakes Bejoy.
Fans of Mohanlal and Malayalam cinema can now relive the cinematic experience at home from the end of May.
