Wayanad: The Sulthan Bathery police arrested a Tanzanian national, Prince Samson (32), the alleged leader of an international drug trafficking network, in a major operation conducted in Bengaluru.
Acting on intelligence inputs, a special police team from Wayanad tracked Samson to his hideout in Bengaluru, where he was found in possession of a significant quantity of narcotics, including MDMA and cocaine. Authorities believe he played a key role in supplying drugs across Kerala, particularly targeting college students and party circuits.
Police sources revealed that Samson had been operating under the radar for several years, using multiple fake identities to evade detection. His arrest is expected to unravel a larger network of international smugglers with links to African and Middle Eastern drug syndicates.
Authorities have intensified their investigation to identify his associates and suppliers. Samson has been remanded in judicial custody, and further interrogations are underway to uncover the full extent of the drug ring.
