Tirupati: In a grand gesture of devotion, three devotees from Bengaluru have donated four giant silver lamps to the renowned Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) temple.
The devotees — Radha Krishna, Shyam Sundar Sharma, and Shashidhar — made the donation on Saturday evening, as confirmed in a press release by the temple authorities. The silver lamps, crafted with intricate detailing and significant in religious rituals, were presented at the temple premises during a ceremonial event.
The TTD management expressed gratitude for the generous donation, noting the spiritual importance such offerings hold in temple traditions. The gifted lamps are expected to be used during major temple ceremonies and rituals.
This act of devotion highlights the continued bond and faith devotees across the country share with the sacred Tirumala temple, one of the most visited pilgrimage centers in the world.
