Amid swirling reports about his resignation, Srikrishnan H, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Karnataka Bank Ltd, made a notable appearance at the All-India Karnataka Bank Employees’ Association conference held in Mangaluru on Saturday evening.
Addressing the gathering, Srikrishnan dismissed the speculation surrounding his resignation, affirming his continued role. “I am attending this programme as MD and CEO of Karnataka Bank. That is something you need to know,” he told attendees, directly referring to recent media reports.
While several sources claim that Srikrishnan has already submitted his resignation and that June 30 will mark his final day with the bank, there has been no official announcement or confirmation from Karnataka Bank as of now.
His presence at the event has added intrigue to the ongoing uncertainty, leaving employees and industry observers waiting for formal clarification.
