Kolkata: In a delightful cross of cricket and cinema, former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly welcomed Bollywood stars Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur to his Kolkata residence on Thursday. The visit was part of the promotional tour for their upcoming romantic drama Metro…In Dino.
The actors were treated to a warm and homely dinner hosted by Ganguly and his family. Photos from the evening show Sara and Aditya sharing light moments with Dada in his living room and dining area, indulging in heartfelt conversation over delicious food.
Ganguly also took time to watch the trailer of Metro…In Dino, directed by Anurag Basu, and lauded the film’s concept and performances.
About the Film
Metro…In Dino, which serves as a spiritual successor to Basu’s 2007 hit Life in a… Metro, explores the intertwined love stories of different couples navigating modern relationships in a bustling city. The ensemble cast includes Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Ali Fazal.
The film is scheduled to release in theatres on 4 July.
Sara and Aditya have been actively promoting the film across major Indian cities. Apart from Kolkata, their recent stops included Bengaluru, where Aditya even performed live during an Arijit Singh concert to engage fans.
