About ‘Metro In Dino’

Directed by Anurag Basu, Metro In Dino is a contemporary romantic drama featuring intertwining love stories across age groups and walks of life. The ensemble cast includes Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Anupam Kher, and Neena Gupta, alongside Sara and Aditya.

The film serves as a spiritual sequel to Basu’s acclaimed 2007 movie Life in a Metro. It explores themes of love, heartbreak, and connection in the backdrop of a bustling city. Set to hit theatres on July 4, the movie is expected to resonate with audiences through its realistic portrayals and ensemble storytelling.

In a recent interaction with PTI, Basu said, “All my first choices said yes. I was lucky because there was no option B… When I now see the film, I can’t imagine anyone else playing these roles.”
