Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is all set for the release of her first film as a producer, Subham, gave fans a peek into her current journey by posting a series of photos on social media. The pictures include glimpses from her promotional events, candid shots with the film crew, and a notable moment shared with director Raj Nidimoru.
Samantha and Raj have collaborated in the past on successful projects like The Family Man and Citadel: Honey Bunny. They also co-own the pickleball team Chennai Super Champs, a partnership that has sparked relationship speculation online — something both have consistently avoided commenting on. While Raj is married to Shhyamali De and shares a daughter with her, Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya, with the couple parting ways in 2021 after four years of marriage.
Sharing the photo dump on Instagram, Samantha captioned it:
“It’s been a long road, but here we are. New beginnings @tralalamovingpictures. #Subham releases on May 9th.”
Her production venture, Subham, under Tralala Productions, marks a bold step in her career. During a recent press interaction in Hyderabad, Samantha voiced her support for equal pay and opportunities in cinema. When asked if she would cast major stars under her banner, she said,
“I never say never. But under Tralala Productions, I want to be careful with every aspect. I believe in equal skill, equal remuneration, and equal experience.”
She emphasized that Subham was an ideal starting point, as the cast consisted mostly of newcomers, allowing her vision of equity to shine through. The film is scheduled for a grand release on May 9.
