Russian and U.S. officials are scheduled to meet in Saudi Arabia on Monday to discuss the ongoing Ukraine conflict and potential agreements related to the Black Sea, according to Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov.
The meeting follows recent conversations between former U.S. President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The U.S. is also set to hold separate discussions with Kyiv in the coming days.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s air force reported that Russia launched 171 drones overnight in one of its latest waves of near-daily attacks since the invasion began. The situation remains tense as diplomatic efforts continue.
