New Delhi: Global creative powerhouse Ogilvy India has launched its dedicated consulting practice in India, appointing industry veteran Neeraj Bassi as the head of this new vertical. Based out of the agency’s Gurugram office, Bassi will also lead strategic planning for Ogilvy India (North) alongside his consulting responsibilities.
With this move, Ogilvy is consolidating its range of specialized services—spanning brand strategy, customer engagement, business design, sales acceleration, and public relations—under one unified offering through Ogilvy Consulting. The aim is to help brands navigate complex business challenges with connected, full-funnel solutions.
Bassi brings with him 28 years of diverse experience. Prior to this role, he was Chief Growth Officer at Cheil X, and has held top strategy positions at Publicis, Havas, and Cheil India. He began his career at McCann Erickson in 1997 and has worked internationally with JWT Dubai. This appointment also marks his return to Ogilvy, where he previously served as President of Strategic Planning until 2015.
