The Karnataka SSLC 10th Class Results 2025 were declared on May 2 by the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB), with an overall pass percentage of 66.14%. Out of 790,890 students who appeared, 523,075 cleared the exam. This year saw 22 students scoring full marks, and girls outperforming boys with a 74% pass rate compared to 58.07% for boys.

Amidst these statistics, a heartwarming story from Bagalkote, Karnataka, has stood out.

Abhishek, a student of Basaveshwara English Medium High School, scored 200 out of 625 marks, failing in all subjects. But instead of anger or disappointment, his parents responded with empathy and celebration. They ordered a cake, distributed sweets, and hosted a small party to uplift their son’s spirits.

Speaking to the media, Abhishek’s father shared, “He worked hard and took his exams seriously. We wanted to celebrate his effort, not his failure.” The family believes that support and encouragement will give him the strength to do better next time.

Abhishek, who suffered memory issues after a fire accident during childhood, remains determined. “I will pass all subjects in my next attempt,” he said with quiet confidence.

The family’s decision to respond with love instead of pressure has won hearts across social media — a reminder that compassion can be more powerful than criticism in a child’s journey to success.
