In a major boost to innovation and entrepreneurship, the Karnataka government has provided ₹25 crore in grants to 101 startups under the ELEVATE 2024 initiative. This year’s program highlighted diversity, with 42 women-led startups and 36 ventures from outside Bengaluru receiving support.
Speaking on the initiative, Karnataka’s Minister for IT & BT and Rural Development, Priyank Kharge, emphasized the widespread participation from across the state. “Startups from 14 districts have been recognized, with a strong presence of rural innovation. Notably, 17 startups focusing on grassroots challenges have secured funding,” he stated.
ELEVATE 2024 continues to play a crucial role in nurturing Karnataka’s startup ecosystem by supporting innovative solutions across sectors and fostering entrepreneurship beyond metro cities.
