In a strategic move blending cutting-edge technology with high-octane sport, Infosys, under the leadership of Narayana Murthy, has teamed up with the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship to launch the all-new Formula E Stats Center. Announced on Wednesday, this next-gen platform is powered by Infosys Topaz, the company’s AI-first suite that integrates generative AI to transform digital experiences.

The initiative deepens Infosys’ ongoing three-year partnership with Formula E and aims to revolutionize fan engagement. With an interactive and intuitive interface, the Stats Center allows fans to explore detailed performance stats of their favorite drivers and teams — spanning current and past seasons — through curated narratives and insights.

Key features include a “trending bubble chat” interface, presenting stats in a conversational, story-like manner, and dynamic data visuals that evolve with each race.

Infosys also led the successful migration of Formula E’s core data lake to Google Cloud, ensuring a robust, secure, and scalable foundation that supports everything from marketing and analytics to sporting operations.

Commenting on the partnership, Jeff Dodds, CEO of Formula E, said,

“This technical partnership with Infosys shows how innovation can amplify the fan experience by making race data more accessible and engaging. Fans are central to everything we do.”

Sumit Virmani, EVP and Global CMO at Infosys, emphasized the role of AI in redefining digital fan interaction:

“From adaptive stat cards to AI-powered companion prompts, we’re supercharging how fans connect with the action—turning data into stories and stats into excitement.”

The move underscores how the intersection of sports and technology continues to open new dimensions for global audiences.
