BENGALURU: A striking red Ferrari that had been the talk of the town for over a year has finally been seized by Bengaluru police. The luxury sports car, frequently spotted speeding across prominent areas of the city, had accumulated multiple traffic violations and had eluded law enforcement until now.
According to police sources, the car had been operating without proper documentation and ignored repeated notices for violations including overspeeding and signal jumping. Despite being flagged in multiple surveillance cameras and citizen reports, the car’s driver skillfully dodged police attempts to intercept.
The breakthrough came when a traffic enforcement team stationed at a prominent junction identified the vehicle and managed to detain it. Authorities have now initiated legal action against the owner, and the Ferrari has been impounded pending further investigation.
Residents who had previously raised concerns about the dangerous driving behavior have welcomed the move, urging authorities to remain vigilant against high-end vehicles flouting traffic norms.
