Bengaluru: In a considerate move for aspirants of the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination, the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) will commence train services at 6 AM today, an hour earlier than the usual Sunday start time of 7 AM.
This special arrangement applies to all four terminal stations — Whitefield (Kadugodi), Challaghatta, Nagasandra, and Silk Institute — ensuring early morning connectivity across the city. The decision comes as thousands of civil services hopefuls are expected to commute early for the prestigious and time-sensitive examination.
BMRCL officials confirmed that the early start aims to ease the travel burden for students and ensure timely arrival at exam centers spread throughout the city.
Regular metro operations and frequency will resume after the extended early service window, providing seamless travel for all commuters.
