Kesari Chapter 2 Trailer Unveiled
At the trailer launch event in New Delhi, Akshay Kumar, alongside R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday, introduced Kesari Chapter 2, which revolves around the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and the legal battle led by C. Sankaran Nair, played by Akshay. The film features R. Madhavan as Neville McKinley, a lawyer defending the British Crown, and promises a gripping courtroom drama directed by Karan Singh Tyagi.
The Story of Kesari 3 – Honoring Hari Singh Nalwa
Following the success of the first two installments, Kesari 3 will shift focus to Hari Singh Nalwa, one of the greatest military leaders of the Sikh Empire. Known for his conquests in Kasur, Sialkot, Attock, Multan, Kashmir, Peshawar, and Jamrud, Nalwa played a pivotal role in expanding the Sikh Empire’s borders beyond the Indus River to the Khyber Pass. The film is expected to depict his heroic battles against Afghan invaders, showcasing his bravery and strategic brilliance.
Kesari Franchise: A Tribute to Sikh Warriors
The Kesari series began with the 2019 blockbuster, which portrayed the Battle of Saragarhi, where 21 Sikh soldiers from the 36th Sikh Regiment fought against 10,000 Afghan tribesmen in 1897. While Kesari Chapter 2 highlights the aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, Kesari 3 will explore Hari Singh Nalwa’s legendary military campaigns.
Produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, and Adar Poonawalla, Kesari 3 promises to be a cinematic tribute to one of India’s greatest warriors. Fans of historical war dramas can now look forward to yet another epic retelling of India’s rich and courageous past.
